The purpose of Mt. Olive’s Christian Preschool to provide a rich, loving environment that offers a positive child development program which includes these areas:
Intellectual- Stimulates interest in exploring and learning through the use of the five senses and various activities. Also, sets the groundwork for a positive attitude towards learning.
Social- Increase the child’s ability to cooperate, plan and interact with peers and also foster a feeling of respect for others and their property.
Physical- Improves gross and fine muscle coordination, develops body awareness and control through indoor and outdoor activities.
Emotional- Reinforces a positive attitude of self-worth, self-confidence and self-discipline.
The learning experiences from these areas will assist each child in developing his/her abilities and the feeling that he/she is a special, worthwhile child.
Mt. Olive Preschool is licensed by the state of Wisconsin. The lead teacher has an elementary education degree. The staff consists of loving and sensitive teachers who are committed to the education of young children.
We offer classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Parents are given the choice to determine which days they would like their child to attend. Call Katie Mace at (608) 238-5656 x218 to see what days are still open for the Fall.

Katie Mace and Kathy Germanotta love being teachers at Mount Olive Christian Preschool. Katie Mace just recently took over the teaching position from Laurel Zobel, and Kathy has been with the school for 10 years. Both teachers have kids that attended preschool at Mount Olive. Kathy lives in Madison with her husband and three kids. Katie lives in the town of Middleton with her husband and three kids.
Both teachers are love the community of the preschool and the wonderful families that attend each year. They look forward to new families and new experiences.
